This Summer is full of new exciting designs but here are the top 5 trends you really need to know about are;

Who would have thought that being comfortable would be a trend!
This trend is such a favourite of mine as it basically means you can have an excuse to buy nice clothes or very cool gym gear when you aren't actually that sporty and just enjoy a stroll, walking the dog or catching up with friends.
It may be a grey marle tonal mix with stripes, spots with casual relaxed fit pants BUT with a touch of glam - you can't forget the LUXE part in the trend. It basically means you need to do it better than your old tracky dacks and the old faithful tee.

Now this is a surprise. We have been in nothing but skinny skinny skinny pants since I can remember! But trends definitely can do full circles. Wide pants are on their way back and you'll need to get on board. The trick to this trend is making sure you know your body shape. If you're short make sure you opt for 7/8 or 3/4 instead of full length, You'll need to get height from heels and ideally balance the wideness with a cropped top or fitted shape so you don't get lost in your outfit.

The overcoat we are talking about is not the big warm coat you may be thinking of, but a lightweight elegant piece. It could be a shirt that you wear open or even wear open with a belt to create shape or a jacket type. It is a fantastic piece and needed in your wardrobe as it can be used just to cover those arms (that so many of us dislike with a passion) or it can be used to create a little extra warmth or purely as a fashion statement.

Lace was flirting with us last year and now we are hooked. It is feminine and oh so pretty but the designs and colour combinations are subtle enough to ensure it's not over the top and easy to wear. Remember lace can be casual and very summery, even great to layer over swimwear when you're at those wonderlust beach holidays.
